Worm Awareness Week
24th – 30th October 2011
Rewarding Responsible Dog Owners
National Worm Awareness Week has been running for many years and aims to highlight the importance of regularly worming their pets. Beaphar manufactures a wide range of worming products to suit pets of all life-styles, making these readily available to pet owners through the retail channel, so avoiding the inconvenience of a trip to the vet. These are fully licenced, Veterinary Medicines that are considered safe enough to be sold direct to the public without the need for veterinary supervision.
The Beaphar range of Wormers has everything a dog or cat owner would need to effectively worm their pet, and all at a reasonable price. Symptoms of worms are very rarely seen in adult pets, except for the occasional adult worm being found in faeces or vomit. That is why it is essential to have a regular worming regime; it is the only way you can be sure they are keeping on top of the problem. If you do not worm regularly, it may not just be causing pets discomfort, but he/she may be passing worms on to other pets and even children. Worm your pet every 3 months with a roundworm and tapeworm treatment such as Beaphar One Dose Wormer for dogs or Beaphar Granules for Cats, and you can be sure to keep the worms at bay. We know every leads busy lives and things are easily forgotten so to help with remembering to worm on a routine basis every box of Beaphar One Dose Wormers for dogs and Beaphar Worming Granules includes reminder stickers. Alternatively visit http://www.wormawareness.co.uk/help-advice/worming-email-reminder/ and sign up to the handy email reminder service.
Are you doing the right thing? If so, you deserve a reward! If you regularly worm your dog and “scoop the poop”, you’re doing the right thing by your own dog, your neighbours’ dogs, and local children. You already appreciate the need to ensure your dog is worm-free and not contaminating parks and other communal places with infective worm eggs. We at Beaphar think you deserve a reward.
In the run up to this year’s Worm Awareness Week (24-30th October), you can pick up a free, bone-shaped poop bag dispenser* when you buy a Beaphar worming product from your local pet store. One extra-lucky shopper will also find a Golden Poop Bag tucked away in the dispenser. Just tell us who you are and we will exchange the Golden Bag for £250!!!
And if you’ve been meaning to worm your dog, but haven’t quite got round to it yet, perhaps this could be the nudge you need to “do the right thing”.
